In our previous paper “Uber die Harmonischen Tensorfelder in Riemannschen Mannigfaltigkeiten”¹ we have given the outline of the theory of harmonic fields (i. e. harmonic integrals) in Riemannian manifolds, and shown in particular (without detailed proof) that the existence of harmonic fields of the first kind can be established with the method of orthogonal projections due to H. Weyl.² We have considered also harmonic fields with singularities, but the existence theorems for the fields of the second and the third kinds have not yet been obtained.
