Since its earliest years, the United States has had specific policies and programs designed to care for our wounded warriors (Rostker, 2013). Since its founding, the Veterans Administration, and now the Department of Veterans Affairs, has provided medical care, rehabilitation, and disability benefits to facilitate the reentry of our most wounded veterans.
