American Society of Mammalogists Publisher Description

The American Society of Mammalogists was founded in 1919 and is dedicated to promoting interest in mammals throughout the world through research, education, conservation, and communication among scientists and the general public. The Society accomplishes this through annual meetings, international conferences, committee activities, research and educational awards to students, and publication of scientific and nontechnical material, including the Journal of Mammalogy, Mammalian Species, and Special Publications.
