    For those who are already oriented to the language and its dialects here is a quick way to get started using this dictionary. The dictionary begins with the Halq’eméylem-to-English section where you can look up words in alphabetical order by Halq’eméylem, the same order as English except that some sounds are written with two or three characters and are treated and alphabetized as single characters.
