The Indiana Magazine of History is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, journal that has appeared in continuous publication since 1905. The IMH documents and investigates the changing culture of Indiana and the Midwest. The editors welcome critical writing that highlights the history of the state and its surrounding region, that adds historical perspective to contemporary issues, or that deepens understanding of historical problems. The journal publishes articles, primary documents, reviews, notices, research notes, and special forums. It is owned by Indiana University and published by the Department of History.
